International Energy Research Centre (IERC), Tyndall National Institute (University College Cork)

The International Energy Research Centre (IERC), hosted by Tyndall National Institute in Ireland, leads the coordination of the activities, ensuring alignment across partners. It contributes its expertise by developing and assessing energy efficiency strategies through advanced modelling, focusing on the balance between technical performance and user comfort.

Institute for Sustainable Technologies (AEE)

AEE INTEC brings its expertise in digital process chains for renovation using prefabricated modules. It takes the lead in developing active heating technologies, contributing to innovative and energy-efficient building solutions through applied research and demonstration-based approaches.

RINA Consulting (RIN)

RINA contributes with its expertise in sustainability assessment through Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) and provides the foundation for the digital process chain app via its Digital Construction Worksite Platform. It also supports activities related to worksite management, safety, and the reduction of on-site disturbances, drawing on its broad experience in engineering and innovation.

ACCIONA (ACC)

ACCIONA, through its Construction Technology Centre, contributes to the development of innovative concrete mix solutions aimed at enabling lighter, thermally insulated prefabricated panels. It also explores the use of recycled materials in concrete formulations, leveraging its multidisciplinary research team to enhance sustainability in construction practices.

Fundación CARTIF (CAR)

CARTIF contributes its expertise in energy retrofit strategies by developing tools that integrate the digital process chain into BIM environments. It ensures seamless linkage between building information models and the digital process chain software, supporting more efficient and coordinated renovation workflows.

CENTRE FOR RESEARCH AND TECHNOLOGY HELLAS (CERTH)

CERTH, through its ConvCAO group, leads the development of AI-based tools for optimizing active energy systems, including automated QR tagging of PV components and integrated management of energy and indoor environmental quality. It also hosts one of the project’s demonstration sites in Thermi, Thessaloniki, showcasing the application of smart energy solutions in real conditions.

KU Leuven (KUL)

KU Leuven contributes its expertise in material science by developing and studying bio-based materials suitable for use in prefabricated panels. Its research supports the integration of sustainable, high-performance solutions into renovation processes.

ASM Research Solutions Strategy (ASM)

ASM brings expertise in socio-economic research and user-centered methodologies, focusing on social perceptions of built environments. It leads the development and application of co-creation approaches at demonstration sites, ensuring human-centric solutions and fostering social sustainability.

R2M Solution SRL (R2M)

R2M Solution leads activities on commercialization, communication, and dissemination, ensuring broad visibility and long-term impact of project results. It develops strategies for stakeholder engagement, clustering, and replication while also conducting market analysis, defining business models, and supporting the exploitation of key results to facilitate market uptake and post-project sustainability.

PREHORQUISA (PRE)

PREHORQUISA specializes in high-value precast concrete solutions, including reinforced architectural concrete, GRC, and Ultra High Performance Concrete. It focuses on developing, improving, and manufacturing lightweight, thermally insulated precast panels using innovative concrete mixes.

RENEL (REN)

RENEL specializes in mechanical engineering and energy project supervision, delivering innovative design, construction, and maintenance services for electrical installations and renewable energy systems. It focuses on developing and manufacturing prefabricated smart solar façade systems to enhance building efficiency and resilience.

UNIVERSIDAD DE BURGOS (UBU)

UBU (Spain) is a dynamic public university known for its strong focus on research, teaching, and technology transfer. As a participant in the DIGIFAB consortium, UBU contributes its academic and technical expertise via its Office of International Projects. The university is actively involved in implementing digital renovation pilots in Spain, integrating research and innovation in sustainable construction.

Rottenmanner Siedlungsgenossenschaft gemeinnützige eGen m.b.H. (RGS)

RGS is a non-profit housing cooperative based in Austria that focuses on developing sustainable, high‑quality residential communities. They specialize in planning and implementing energy-efficient, prefabricated building envelopes tailored for multi-unit dwellings. Through their cooperative model, RGS fosters social engagement among residents and integrates durable, low‑maintenance facades into their project developments — perfectly matching DIGIFAB’s objectives on prefabricated sustainable renovation solutions.

TOWERN3000 (TOW)

TOWERN3000 specializes in advanced energy-active building envelopes, focusing on the development and enhancement of integrated façade heating systems. Its innovative solutions combine insulation, heating, cooling, and energy storage into modular, smart façade elements.

FERTIGBAU HOLZBAUWERK GES.M.B.H.&CO.KG (HFH)

Haas Fertigbau specializes in sustainable, customized prefabricated construction solutions, including houses and commercial buildings. It focuses on developing and manufacturing bio-based prefabricated panels integrated with envelope heating systems to enhance energy efficiency and comfort.
